November 21, 2019 – World War II veteran Alex Obrizok (96) shares his U.S. Coast Guard service (1942-1946) proudly reflects on his experience aboard Coast Guard Cutter Tampa and his Coast Guard Ensign that has remained in his possession for over 73 years. After recently rediscovering, this cherished Coast Guard flag … he decided to return this World War II artifact to the current Coast Guard Cutter Tampa.
