Kevin Rosenblum, a former U.S. Army Captain, served in Iraq from 2005-06, then again from 2007-08. While on patrol, he was ambushed with mortar and small arms fire, leaving him and eight soldiers wounded. He returned to duty, separating from the Army in 2009. Turning to endurance sports, including trail running and mountain biking, has helped him manage the invisible wounds of war.
