NEW VETERANS COMMUNITY CARE
The Veterans community care Hopefully, will improve services to veterans. The major improvement since the VA MISSION ACT 2018 was executed on June 6, 2019.
Hopefully, on the ground VETERANS, COMMUNITY CARE will expand in your community. Today I will talk about advances:
1. NEW COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAM
2. VA CUSTOMER SERVICE
3. NEW URGENT CARE VA BENEFITS
4. NEW VA COMMUNITY CARE NETWORK
5.VA MODERN COMPUTER SYSTEM
VA SINGLE COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAM ROLLOUT 2019
The current programs will be combined into one COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAM. Change is happening. So What does this mean to veterans? The VETERANS CHOICE PROGRAM is shutting down. But some of its elements are being incorporated into this new program. The benefits for you and me — are with combining programs with a single set of rules and processes simplifies the VA administration of the programs. Hopefully, it will accelerate the evaluation of veterans applications.
VA CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPROVEMENT
The VA has redesigned and implementing its internal processes and procedures. I know you’re saying so what. This should improve VA CUSTOMER SERVICE. You will benefit from customer service and the administration of VA CLAIMS. This will significantly help the VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATION (VSO) partners. Also, VA staff responsible for community care operations. A task that never ends.
NEW URGENT CARE VA BENEFITS JUNE 2019
Here comes a NEW VA BENEFIT. Hopefully, improve customer service to veterans and family. There will be new URGENT CARE BENEFITS that provides eligible veterans with access to nonemergency care. A new community care network. A more modern computer system to replace the older systems.
The new regulations should be published around June 6, 2019. The current community care programs and veterans choice program will win. However, this new program This expected to be fully implemented by June 2019. I think we can expect some “speed bumps” during implementation! So what’s new?
A fact sheet from the Veterans Administration provides more detail.
