2020 Update from Funker: If you’re looking for a veteran community to hang out with, or want to ask Funker any questions, we stream Escape From Tarkov live Mon-Fri, 1-6EST at https://FB.gg/FunkerGaming. After a few years of disabling Funker530 on YouTube due to community guideline strikes and threats of being shutdown, I have decided to re-activate it instead of leaving it dormant. New footage will be uploaded every Friday moving forward. Daily military news and combat footage can always be found at https://Funker530.com.
If you would like to ask me any questions, or join our veteran community on Twitch, I stream live Mon-Fri at https://twitch.tv/Funker. You’ll find that most people in chat are veterans, and it’s a chill place to hang out for a few hours each day if you feel like connecting with other vets. You can also join our discord at https://discord.gg/PSFhuxB
A western volunteer with the YPG records the moment an SVBIED detonates and ruins the nap he was trying to get in before going back to the fight.
Anderson Bryant was a volunteer with the YPG during the assault to retake the city of Manbij from the Islamic State. This is a video he sent in from his time working with the kurds. According to the video, his position at the time of this recording was just 500 meters outside of the Islamic State controlled city.
Here is an excerpt from the message he sent us with this video.
I was with a Kurdish YPG/SDF unit during the liberation of Manbij (May-Aug 2016) in Aleppo province, northern Syria, when we were hit by an ISIS SVBIED (suicide car bomb) and ISIS began a heavy attack. Every crack you hear is a bullet hitting our building, I was just about to duck off to sleep too but that never happened. Miraculously no one was injured in that bombing and we repelled the attack after about 45 minutes.
Anderson is releasing more of the footage from his time with the YPG on his YouTube channel. You can find that at this link – https://www.youtube.com/user/drabryant14

I will be populating and updating it over the next few months as the site grows I hope to open it up more for veterans to log into and help and inform others of their experiences by early 2021.. I hope you find something helpful here and be sure to check back for updates. I have many news sites, you will find the RSS Feeds for those sites on U.S. Veterans.
