Sorry I haven’t had a chance to update this Site! I was looking to Lock my credit at the three national credit reporting agencies (Equifax credit reporting agency, Experian credit reporting agency & Transunion credit reporting agency) in an attempt to stop theft of my identity after the resent theft of peoples information from Equifax credit reporting agency credit reporting agency. Information that should not even be available for people to steal!

Useless to say they want $20.00 a month to have the ability to lock and unlock your Personal information! A option that should be completely free! Considering I never gave them that information or permission to give out that information freely to anyone who wants it! 3 credit reporting agencies at $20 a month! That’s $60.00 a month! $720.00 a year just to keep my private information private from someone I never authorized to have all that information anyway! Hostage fees!
I called to try to find out why they are holding my information hostage charging me to hide or lock my information from the general public! I bypassed the option to talk about the Equifax credit reporting agency credit reporting agency credit reporting agency breach and selected the option to talk to sales, the telephone then went to a message saying the call could not be completed and disconnected me!
Next I realized I have a free Experiandirect.com through my bank account! I logged into Experian credit reporting agency credit reporting agency credit reporting agency to try and lock my information from being viewed by whoever they let view my information that I didn’t authorize to give out! And it seems they are holding my information hostage as well! I couldn’t find any way to Lock my information I did find a new term (security Freeze) vs Credit Lock so I will have to research that. What I did find out, is I can file a Fraud Alert for 90 days. Makes people that are stealing my information or trying to use/view my credit go through a few more security steps. Unfortunately they want money to do that as well, or I think they want money I never could complete the Fraud alert Process and they said that they didn’t charge me anything because they never completed process. Now they want me to mail them or fax them more paper work to authorize the fraud alert. I have no doubt that my ID will be stolen or people will be running credit fraud in my name by then, since Equifax credit reporting agency credit reporting agency has been so nice to give the hackers have all my information.
I did call Experian credit reporting agency to try to find out why they are holding my information hostage, needless to say after a hour on hold I gave up..
I’m not even going to try and do anything with Equifax credit reporting agency credit reporting agency credit reporting agency since they are compromised anyway! I am afraid to go to their website and they defiantly are not answering their cellphone!
So far my experience trying to protect my Identity from the 3 national credit reporting agencies holding it hostage has been worthless. All the main-flow DC sites are telling us all to call them but Unfortunately they have quit answering their phones. Would it do any good anyway? You know they want more money!
We need to start a law suit against all of these 3 scammers that they are holding all our personal information hostage!

Seems the best way to protect your information from being stolen from the 3 national reporting companies is to complete the Fraud Alert.. Nice thing about it is you only have to do it one time then they are supposed to tell the other 2, by law, Here is the information and how to accomplish that from the FTC website.

Ask 1 of the 3 credit reporting companies to put a fraud alert on your credit report. They must tell the other 2 companies. An initial fraud alert can make it harder for an identity thief to open more accounts in your name. The alert lasts 90 days but you can renew it.
