NEWARK, NJ, UNITED STATES
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Mikaela Jones, a Tokyo, Japan native and aerospace medical technician from Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, users her ability to speak the Japanese to assist a community member at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, May 27, 2021. Having grown up for a time in Tokyo, Jones was able to employ her unique qualities and skills for the benefit of the Newark community and the objectives of team NJIT. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible DoD support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
