January 30, 2020 – A U.S. Air Force carry team transfers the remains of Air Force Lt. Col. Paul K. Voss (46) and Air Force Capt. Ryan S. Phaneuf (30) during a dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. They were flying in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel when their Bombardier E-11A crashed in Ghazni province of Afghanistan about 80 miles southwest of Kabul in a Taliban-controlled area.
