111th Attack Wing Diversity Working Group talk brings Wingmen in the Law Enforcement community together to discuss how to deescalate the stress during a traffic stops.
HORSHAM, PA, UNITED STATES
On behalf of the 111th Attack Wing Diversity Working Group, Master Sgt. Duke Elliot-Harmon, 111th Security Forces Squadron First Sergeant, recently sat down with his Wingmen in the Law Enforcement community to discuss traffic stops. The goal was to give our Airmen the tools they may need to deescalate the stress of a traffic stop and ensure everyone makes it home safely. Though this question and answer session was not a political discussion, we understand the sensitivity of the issue at hand. The 111th ATKW supports everyone’s right to equal and fair policing just as much as we support our brothers and sisters in Law Enforcement. Regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, socio-economic background, religion, or occupation, our goal is to create an environment in which our Airmen feel safe and supported. We want our Wingmen to experience the dignity and respect they deserve, regardless of what side of the traffic stop they are on. We hope this video is a step in that direction.
